So did I

, at the Martigny (Valais canton, 90 miles away from Geneva) bike show. The bike on display had the "factory" colors, white, red and blue. To me, it looked incredibly tiny, more like a 600cc than a 1000c superbike. Agree with your impressions, including the non-symmetrical fairing sides and the somewhat baroque overall bodywork design.
By way of contrast , the new-for-2010 MV Agusta 1000c on display on an adjacent stand looked stupendously good, in an integrated or cohesive sort of way. Aprilia's RV4 was also on display, so incredibly well-designed, the std (vs. "factory") edition looking quite spendid in white.
After eating regional veal sausages with fries and drinking some Humagne red wine (a Valais specialty), we rode back to Geneva along the lake... under pouring rain.
The riding season had just started!
Best. Jamie
