In other words, it's hype for the forthcoming VFR1000. The bike that will take the throne and bring back something for those who always wanted a blackbird.
My VFR800 is a perfect machine, but its a modern-generation bike that doesn't have the character flaws of it's predecessors. The Triumph SprintST was one of the alternatives for the gap Honda left behind when it pulled the blackbird from US customers.
One way or another, a big heavy sportbike is going to be back in my future.
Now if someone wanted to refurbish and sell old Triumph T3 Daytona/SuperIII machines, then we wouldn't need all of this high-tech stuff
