My Introduction

I'm a former owner of several Triumphs, but due to many circumstances my last two years has been on a Black 2006 VFR Interceptor (we all know that Black is the fastest color):

Re: My Introduction

Owned and loved an 1100 '04 Shadow up until a tour through the Catskills and Adirondacks a couple of years ago where I was introduced to an asphalt black VFR and lost my heart (and maybe my head). Anyway found a "new" '06 Pearl White at a local dealer, negotiated a trade and voila I became the ecstatic owner of one of the finest motorcycles ever created (not just my sentiment - ask Peter Egan). 17,000 happy klicks in the first year and now I am waiting out an interminably long Canadian winter before I can go riding again. Will add factory hard cases (if I can find 'em) this spring.

It's said that 'you meet the nicest people on a Honda'........

Guess that's why I never owned one.........

Welcome aboard by the way. It's always best to get in on the ground floor. That way you have instant seniority.

I'm not very far behind you. I'm bumping 60 this year. I see you are in Ontario Province...Where exactly? I'm real close to Windsor.

Re: My Introduction

I'm in Fenelon Falls, a little village of about 1,500 in the Kawartha Lakes district ( about an hour north east of Toronto) in September of last year I lived just west of Toronto but my wife and I decided to sell our place, move next to the water and build a new home. Still waiting to move into the new place which should happen about mid March (I hope!). There's a lot a great bike roads in the area so I am looking forward to pointing the Veefer's nose down them soon.
