| Re: Goldwing gone ... good. I like everything but the exhaust and the lack of a front mudgard. The exhaust is, well, art-deco ( to say it nicely) and the lack of a front mudgard makes it non-rideable except on sunny, dry days.
Having worked on a Wing before I can say without prejudice that it takes some skill to stuff a wing engine in any chassis with any hint of the original bike coming out.
The standard issue wing chassis is a removable downtube affair with various weldments for attaching bodywork and acessories plus the engine is electronically controlled so there is a mass (large mass) of wiring and computer related bits and the gas tank is really under the seat and over the engine on a standard (late model) wing so it took a bit of reverse engineering to achieve the look.
Get rid of the outlandish muffler and add a front fender and I could appreciate it more.
