Goldwing gone ... good.

Once you've finally retired, and long after you and the missuz are bored silly with touring Bed and Breakfast's, and the Aluminum Foil Museum....

You can do this...

Honda Gold Wing Bulldog Bobber | Bike EXIF | Classic motorcycles, custom motorcycles and cafe racers

Ride Safe!

Now that is a Man's Bike!

That is a very cool site as well. I've added it to the Web Links.

Re: Goldwing gone ... good.

I like everything but the exhaust and the lack of a front mudgard. The exhaust is, well, art-deco ( to say it nicely) and the lack of a front mudgard makes it non-rideable except on sunny, dry days.

Having worked on a Wing before I can say without prejudice that it takes some skill to stuff a wing engine in any chassis with any hint of the original bike coming out.

The standard issue wing chassis is a removable downtube affair with various weldments for attaching bodywork and acessories plus the engine is electronically controlled so there is a mass (large mass) of wiring and computer related bits and the gas tank is really under the seat and over the engine on a standard (late model) wing so it took a bit of reverse engineering to achieve the look.

Get rid of the outlandish muffler and add a front fender and I could appreciate it more.

I'd ride it, looks like a Speed Triple seat on it though.
