There is a nice, unbiased review of the new Triumph Bonneville's in the August 2009 issue of
Road Runner magazine.
For once, it's a straight up review, without bizzare comparisons ("Triumph Bonneville Vs Ducati Shoot-out!") or belittling the bike for being something the author thought it should have been.
I enjoy Road Runner, and subscribe, as I enjoy reading about the exotic road trips, as well as some closer to home excursions that are very do-able. The owners, editors and authors all seem like real enthusiasts, and not out to impress.
Pick up a copy if you haven't, as I think the folks on this forum would like it.
If only I could find some Aluminum box panniers for a reasonable price. A thousand bucks? What are they... made of... aluminum?
