Just FYI, I've been working on this (almost) exact same thing for months now - the guy rightfully beat me to it!

Re: Triumph Bonneville Side Cover / Intake

Here's an update on this great side panel:

1.) This is the actual fabricator

P.J. Glassfibre - Custom Parts

2.) After some back/forth emailing, and a little pleading, "Pete", the owner, now makes high-flow panels for both the right and left side!

This is for those of us that have opened up the opposite side of the Air Filter housing, and also opened up the opposite side of the K&N Filter. You can now get some good "air rush" going from both sides at once!

Pete's a great guy, and will also paint in any color you choose, plus apply decals, etc., then clearcoat.

In the end, it's probably about the same cost as an Airbox Removal Kit (ARK), but if viewed as an alternative way to the same end result... works just perfect.

I've heard Bonneville ARK proponenets say that they need top put covers over the "Pod" filters if it begins to rain. And it's "no problem".

Really? Sounds like a major pain in the a** to me, and wouldn't the rain covers also retrict airflow?

Sounds like jaded justification to me .

Either way, your choice of course, and as always - just please don't make silly stuff up to strengthen your argument! Whatever floats yer boat.

Ride Safe!

Bob
