Yes. Raask has been a -dependable- mod supplier of choice to numerous Rocket III owners world-wide, including yours truly. Its fairly recent T'Bird catalogue is second to none IMO, both time- and contents-wise. I may order the raised front pegs , BTW, once I am done scraping the OEM units

Re: Thunderbird Cafe Racer concept

Looks like some great and interesting products. I remember my test ride on the T-Bird - still here on the site - where I suggested it would be nice to have the pegs a little rearward. Not sure from reading the advert on the site, but are they available a little offset to the back?

Being a lifetime "standard" style rider, I found the forward pegs a little unnatural at first, and it took awhile to become accustomed to where to place your feet after take-off!

Other than that, I would only be extremely skeptical of the 2" diameter oversize pipes offered for the Bonneville. Years of Engineering and Exhaust Design Studies have revealed that a move like that will display big "dyno" numbers at the very far top RPM end (which seems to get many folks going, as witnessed by many "Low-Tech" novice forums/sites), but will very, very possibly delete a substantial amount of torque at lower RPM's (lost velocity). Cylinder scavenging would be significantly lowered at any reasonable RPM below redline.

That said, if a rider is only doing one-up primarily highway riding, or is setting up a Bonneville Salt Flats Highest Spped record attempt - then it may make sense. But, on the other hand, if a rider travels primarily on everyday streets, and does the occasional two-up riding, OR lives in a hilly, mountainous terrain, these pipes would be an extremely questionable idea.

There is also a huge difference in performance results between "Megaphone" style, and "Reverse Cone" style exhausts, and where a mod like that places your powerband center. Buyer beware as they say.

It's hard to tell exactly where Raask focuses - I'm guessing Triumph, but it looks like he may be expanding. Hopefully for the good?

Ride Safe!
