I concur, although I have only managed to lodge 200 run-in miles on mine since Dec. 15, due to truly adverse weather conditions.

The article suggests that " (with) the 1700 kit (it) is a different animal". Yes, indeed. That's exactly why I went for the BB kit installed up-front after trying the std unit. It also laments the relative lack of "popping and surging". Well, the BB kit coupled with TOR pipes and the so-called "performance" air sponge provide plenty of both.

One last point: Coming from a 2300cc Rocket III and a Yamaha 1700cc V-Max, the T'Bird is such a RELAXING ride (some might read that as derogatory, perhaps, but it's NOT meant to be)
