Post 2011 Triumph Dayonta 675R

A race-ready version of Triumph's award-winning middleweight
Perhaps inspired by another exotic European sportbike maker, Triumph decided to inject some excitement into its otherwise stagnant Daytona 675 platform by releasing a spiffed-up R-version featuring upgraded chassis components and a unique look. The standard Kayaba suspension has been binned in favor of Swedish bling from Öhlins, in the form of a fully adjustable, 43mm NIX30 fork and a twin-tube TTX36 shock to deliver track-ready performance. The braking tackle has been similarly upgraded, with garden-variety Nissin bits giving way to Brembo Monoblocs, the fronts radially mounted and actuated by a radial master cylinder for even better modulation. An electronic quick-shifter has also been added; otherwise, the R is mechanically identical to the standard 675. And in case that glittering gold didn't give away enough, a special color scheme composed of Crystal White bodywork, a red subframe and a unique Triumph script on the tank helps differentiate the R-model from any distance.
