Is that forward facing Air Intake (I assume?) home-made as well? Looks interesting.

How 'bout some text to explain the great fabrication work.

The air intakes are from the factory. On the fabrication work, it helps when your best friend is a mechanical engineer. I had all these complicated ideas and he pulls out two "L" brackets out of his parts bin and that's what we used to mount the turn signals. We mounted them farther back and brought them in so they don't stick out like Mickey Mouse ears. We just used a cheapo license plate bracket for the tag since it's covered up. The Speed Four came with this awful looking plastic mud guard that hung way down...it was cut off even with the body work.

That would be your standard issue Speed Four. Great bikes, I almost bought one in eye burning green.
