Re: Here we go

That is one of the freaky things about a new forum :suspicious: it puts a special perspective on things ...

Re: Here we go

Shawn,

What are you riding now-a-days? I'm still a two-bike Triumph rider ('03 T-100 & '07 Tiger1050).

I just returned (August 5--August 13) from a 2688 mile trip to Salt Lake City, UT with my son. He rode an '08 Triumph Sprint ST and I rode the Tiger1050. We had a lot of fun and took some time on the return trip to go through the Colorado high country. It was a business trip for my son, but I was on vacation.

Re: Here we go

I just realized that the "Motorcycle" ownerships aren't displaying. They were in the development stage, before the graphics work was started, but it won't be difficult to correct.

If you go into the Member Albums, you'll see a couple pictures of my VFR:

A couple years ago, I was at a point in my career where there was significant change taking place. Things were going well, but it didn't leave any time to deal with my Daytona900 (electrical and fuel system problems). So I went to a Honda dealer closeby and worked out a trade-in arrangement for a new VFR. After the purchase, it sat in the garage for three weeks before taking it out and actually riding it.

I wouldn't say that I put tremendous miles on any motorcycle, but have done more riding in the last couple years that I've been able to in a long time. My 2006 Interceptor doesn't do any one thing extremely well, but it embodies the definition of a solid and dependable all-round street bike. The only reason it goes to a motorcycle shop is for maintenance. It's the only bike I've ever owned that hasn't had an issue or component failure.

That being said, I am thinking about what my next bike will be. When you come over to Fayetteville for BB-BBQ, we'll have to chat about it
