This news appears to be focused more toward the UK market; but there are renewed infobits coming out about Harley's potential for moving manufacturing away from Milwaukee.

In truth, a Harley could be built anywhere - but it is doubtful that the current market of enthusiasts could deal with such a change. It would be like all Triumphs being made in the east and Hinckley just being a business office.

There's nothing wrong with controlling costs, but as we've pointed out many times before you can't expect to maintain pre-recession margins.
