Hey...

I guess anything that makes it easier for new riders - in this particular case women - to enter the sport, should be percieved as a good thing.

What is puzzling is why the same height restricted new rider wouldn't choose say a Honda Shadow, or a miriad of other offerings? Much less expensive, you get the "Honda" reliability, performance is either equal to/greater than the 883, and the "look" is basically the same.

Much can be said for HD marketing excellence, and the willingness of the general public to pay a premium just for a name, especially newer riders.

Gotta hand it to 'em...
