Posters who wish to upload an image may find it a bit of a struggle to share photos to others in the motorcycling community:
Forum Post Attachments - Represent an image that is shown in the post and allows readers to click on the image to see a respectable larger-sized version (if it is available). Generally, advanced features aren't supported on image attachments because this kind of content isn't easy for a community to reference in the future; because forum posts "move down the list" with time. Forum Post attachments are best used for things like pointing out a problem on a bike (that doesn't appear to be common), or a temporary event during a ride.
Photo Albums - Uploading your pictures in the Photo Albums is a slightly different process, but as easy as doing attachments. The Motorcycles International Photo Albums supports many advanced features, as well as larger image sizes (up to 6.5 Megabyte file sizes). Once your pictures are uploaded, the system automatically creates thumbnails and resized images suitable for including in forum posts (how-to pictures coming). Using the Photo Albums are best suited for pictures that would be of interest to the community; pictures of your bike, new paint job, updated accessory, and etc.
