IF the Norton is developed into a bike that the average Joe can afford, I'm all for it, and would highly consider it. Last I could find, the 961 Norton was MSRPing at $19,995, which is a bit steep for this type of bike, comparable to the Triumph Tiger or Triple. The "Hinckley" business strategy, with perhaps a few notable exceptions (Thailand!) would be a good case study to follow.
IF the bike becomes yet another offer for the "nuevo riche", then I have no doubt it will fail miserably, and deservedly so.
Wonder how the new "Indian" bike is doing? $35K a pop for the basic model! Zero info on the internet, probably for a good reason. What goes around... comes around.
