I saw a large group of Deer this morning, circa 7:15 AM, just outside the house, which reminded me that deer migration / movement / rut season is upon us again. Here in Illinois, we lose about a dozen or so riders a year from deer collisions.

We are infested with deer in Arkansas not uncommon to see them on the road in the middle of the day. You think deer are bad though wait till an Elk blocks the road. They aren't scared of motorcycles. I snapped this pic from the seat of my bike in Boxley Arkansas. Was riding with a group one time and one was in the road and took his time crossing, of course didn't have my camera that day. He was absolutely huge up close.
