Speed,
This looks like a ton of fun, and also appears like there are excellent riders and enthusiasts around it. I'm jealous.
Feel very appreciative, as not many of these type things are around anymore.
Here around Northern Illinois / Chicago, it's mainly "Harley" country (too close to Milwaukee, and the "Motor Company"), and a lot of "look-alike" bikes that attempt to resemble Harleys. An "all day ride" would be 10 minutes to the nearest Biker Bar! Wow... nice chrome! Glug, glug...
Those of us who are "in the know" head to the "Driftless Zone",
Driftless Area - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
which is the area around NW Illinois, SW Wisconsin, and up through SE Minnesota. The Ice Glaciers went around this area, instead of through it, and therefore didn't "level" the area as most of the surrounding parts are. Beautiful roads, ton's o' twisties, big "Hills", valleys, etc. The Mississippi River sort of runs right through the epicenter of it in that area. Excellent riding roads, but you really can't appreciate it on a slow, lumbering bike. Better to have something with mucho manueverability and a good, well tuned, decent, roadworthy powerband. Read "Performance Bike", not
"peak power"!!!

As soon as I see reasonably worn helmets and riding gear in the pictures, I think "These guys are for real." The same also applies 'round here, as we have an "unofficial" riding group that has grown over the years, and roughly 90% of them do regular track days, some actually race on an amatuer level, so they know the purpose and reason behind good gear. Their excellent riding skills equals, and compliment the enthusiasm and experience as well.
Have fun at the event, and take lot's of pic's. Too bad this is an "Arkansas only" venue, we need more events like this in the midwest!!
Ride Safe!
