Another dealer gone

Looks like BMW of Little Rock are going to close the doors. This is a big hit for the state as they are the only Ducati and Triumph dealer and one of two BWM dealers in the state.

Re: Another dealer gone

That is not good!

I'm in Little Rock frequently (staying in a hotel close to Shackelford now), but admit that I rarely went there.

Ducati support is available again in Tulsa. The OKC Ducati Dealer opened a Vespa/Ducati shop on Peoria, down the street from Myers-Duren H-D.

I'm not sure how many Ducati models were sold in Little Rock, but would think that another dealer in Little Rock would pick up Triumph if he wasn't forced into a large up-front investment. I'm not sure how quickly someone else would pick up the BMW line in Little Rock, riders may be going to Bentonville for a while

Re: Another dealer gone

I've had two separate confirmations from riders in Little Rock, one who rides my old Triumph Adventurer, that the dealer is closed. There is no inventory in the building.

Apparently there were some layoffs in the last few months. One of the former employees had already opened up motorcycle shop in another part of the area. It isn't an official dealer, but at least there is someone in the area who can do basic service on those bikes.

I hate this sort of thing, reminds me of the time we lost our local dealer.
