Looks like most of them are Norton Interstates, with high bars and sissy bars I think. I almost bought one that was in great shape but didn't want to spend the $$ change it over to a Commando. I'll have a Commando one of these days. My favorite classic bike.

My own, favorite classic remains the Royal Enfield Interceptor 750cc. Chrome was its color, apart from the black frame and a few metallic burgundy accents here and there. Experts tell me it was both the most dependable and one of the most powerful Brit bike of the era.

But I never had a chance to ride one back then. Jamie

Mine too. The earlier versions were plagued with all sorts of problems but the last of the line, the MkIII Interceptor, was a fine machine, smooth for a 360º twin due to its dynamically-balanced crank, powerful and well-equipped. It also had what's possibly the best looking engine of all the Brit twins.

Did any forum members monitor the Norton auction in Belgium. I would love to know what they made.
