There is still much to do, but I've removed the blocks and linked the site to several external sources. When it comes to forum software platforms, it is vastly different than what I've worked with in the past.

I'm trying out a different registration process, that doesn't require email validation. In other words, after one successfully completes the process - they can post immediately. It supports login with existing Facebook or twitter accounts, which should be valid already, so going through an additional validation process didn't make sense.
