Irrelevant to a motorcycle forum, no doubt (pardon me): I just traded in my 6 1/2 years old Jaguar X Estate for a new Mini Cooper S (granted, BMW owns the Mini brand but the cars are still
manufactured in the UK) . I no longer needed that large a car, I ride a lot more than I drive anyway, and the Jag's resale value was going down the drain (even more so given the fact that the new Indian Jag landlord, Mr Tata, decided to discontinue the X series last May).
186 HP @ just 5'000 turbocharged rpm's. FWD. A 6-speed manual gearbox. Go-kart-type agility. But leather bucket seats and about the same amenities as I had on the Jag, plus state-of-the-art on-board electronics which will no doubt challenge me brains for a long period of time
