Good-Bye

Been hitch-hiking conversational rides in here from day one. For a while. Contributing and... encouraging at times, I'd hope. To little avail. Not "enough traffic", I am afraid... Sorry to both the webmaster and my few pen pals here. I am OUT.

Take care. Jamie

Re: Good-Bye

Hate to see you go Jamie, since you have been the lone poster for a while I understand.

If I see you on another forum I will give you a shout. Have fun on that big Bird!

Re: Good-Bye

It's unfortunate but understandable.

The irony is that traffic on this site has increased over 25% in the last month; more than most sites on the web. It's enough of an increase to not take this site down, but a change in strategy is needed.

Re: Good-Bye

Well, I'm as guilty as the rest ie, not posting enough but I do check in most weeks to see what's going on. I've known Jamie since the very early days of the Rocket III forum that started back in 2004 (nowdays R3owners.com) and I still have a photo of Jamie's Tribal orange Rocket III pinned on my office wall at the shop. One that Jamie sent via snail mail from Switzerland.

Well Jamie, can I ask which forum you post on the most so maybe I can keep in touch. Although I occasionally still post on R3owners.com I am probably more prolific in the Scrambler section of Beasts on ADVrider.com but I also occasionally post in the Twins Technical Section section of Trat.

No doubt you will keep MC Intl in your favourites and pop in from time to time to see your mates!

I should also take this opportunity to thank the Prophet for his well researched in-depth posts and various other information. I drew on some of Phophets exhaust theory posts recently to gain a better understanding when making some changes to the Scrambler's system. Excellent stuff.

The first round of the BEARS series is a couple of weekends away at Broadford Vic so we are looking forward to this.

I have put my deposit down on a Daytona 675R which I will take delivery of in July. I plan to retire the Scrambler back to dual-sport road duties after the conclusion of the BEARS national Challenge at the end of the year so the Daytona will be used for track duties next year
