The new (and heaver) Shoei X-12 isn't something I'm going to run out and buy. My X-11 is still in great shape. Interesting to see the deals already available on Amazon:
I see that the Shoei Glory graphics theme was maintained in this new series, now called the Glory 2 on the X-12. If I ever broke out of the solid-black mindset this is what I would likely get:
The pricing is a bit difficult to comprehend. I've been wearing Shoei for most of my riding life and still have anxiety about paying $700 for any helmet. Hopefully there will be vendors who will be willing to work the deals that were available for the X-11.
