I don't know about you Arkansas folks, but up here in frosty Illinois, things get pretty cold (-4 degrees F today!) from December to March.
That said, improving on winter gear is a never ending quest.
Here's some excellent gloves that I bought last week, and rode with this past Sunday (Dec.6th) for the "Toys for Tot's Chicago run.

The temps were in the lower 20's and it was a 2 1/4 hour ride to/from the run starting in south Chicago, and ending up at historic Lane Tech High School in north Chicago.
No problems at all with the cold... nada. Gloves are warm, lightweight, and comfortable / flexible, and you still have lot's of "feel".
I already had some silk liners, but look downward on the page and you can see liners offered for 14 bucks. These are a must as well if the outside temps are say < 35 degrees F.
Granted, these aren't "Motorcycle" gloves, but my philosophy for winter riding has always been to dress warm, but never to the "over do it" extent that you find it difficult to move around or lose mobility. Cold, and lack of overall flexibility can be your major winter riding enemies.
I also preach the "4 minute rule". That is, is within the first four minutes of the ride you start to feel cold, or feel a seam or bare patch inviting cold... stop... turn around and go back home to re-dress. You are NOT going to suddenly get warmer, if within the first few minutes things are cold, it will get worse!
Ride Safe (and warm)!
